Top Websites for Scandi Inspiration

by Laura Donnelly on May 03, 2022

When hearing the word 'Scandi', many people think about Scandinavian design with its clean, simple lines, minimalist functionality and free from clutter approach. Scandinavian design in the home can be traced back as early as the mid 20th century however it seems to have really taken off over the past 10 years with the name 'Scandi' being used in many popular and independent home furnishing stores.

As well as their functional yet beautiful home decor designs, we are also looking at Scandinavians to find the secret to a happy life through their values and traditions, their food, fashion and children's toy design, hygge and their general way of life.

Apart from Ikea (who also sell Scandinavian food as well as their functional and hugely popular home furnishings), where do you look for Scandi inspiration? Where can you buy beautiful and functional toys and activities for your children? Where can you sample Scandinavian food or read hints and tips about Scandi life? Here is a list of websites you MUST visit for all things Scandi; including links to my favourite magazine and a Scandi subscription box!
